Freekick AI — Privacy Policy
The short version: Freekick AI collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app makes no network requests at all. Every video it records and every measurement it calculates stays on your iPhone.
Information collected
None. Freekick AI does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. Specifically, the app does not gather:
- Names, email addresses or any other contact details
- Accounts, logins or user profiles — the app has none
- Usage or analytics data
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers or location
- Crash or diagnostic reports sent to us
Freekick AI contains no third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Camera
Freekick AI asks for camera access so it can watch your shot in real time. Camera frames are analysed on the device as they arrive, using Apple's on-device Vision framework together with machine-learning models bundled inside the app, to find the goal, follow the ball and calculate speed, launch angle and trajectory.
Camera frames are never uploaded anywhere. You can revoke camera access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera, or in the Freekick AI section of the iOS Settings app; without it, live analysis cannot run.
Videos you choose yourself
You can analyse footage you already have by picking a video file through the standard iOS file picker, or by sending a video to Freekick AI from another app. The app receives only the file you choose, reads it on the device to run the same analysis, and never requests access to your photo library as a whole.
What is stored on your device
Everything the app keeps, it keeps locally:
- Session recordings — video of the sessions you record, saved in the app's own Recordings folder, which you can browse under Freekick in the iOS Files app
- Thumbnails for the session list
- Session metrics — the shot count, score, speeds and angles shown on your summary and recordings screens
- Preferences — your in-app settings
Deleting a session from the app deletes its recording and thumbnail. Deleting the app removes all of it. Nothing is backed up to a server by Freekick AI, although these files may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup of the device, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your backup settings.
Sharing your recordings
Because your recordings are ordinary video files on your device, you can share them yourself — through the Files app, AirDrop, Messages or anywhere else. Anything you choose to send leaves the app at your own initiative, and is then covered by the privacy policy of wherever you sent it.
Third parties
Freekick AI uses no third-party services, servers or software kits. The only frameworks it relies on are Apple's own, running locally on your iPhone.
Information Apple provides
If you download Freekick AI from the App Store, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as download counts and crash reports through App Store Connect. That information comes from Apple rather than from the app, it is not tied to your identity, and we cannot use it to identify you. Apple's handling of it is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Freekick AI does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Since no data ever reaches us, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the recordings and session data on your device, and can remove any of it at any time from within the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
